Love & Logic Love and Logic is built around caring and respectful relationships. Parents can raise self-confident, motivated children who are ready for the real world. Love and Logic provides powerful tools for parenting children of all ages. Parents learn to provide real limits in a loving way, helping form the foundation of good behavior and healthy decision-making in children. The course consists of five to six sessions, each lasting approximately 90 minutes each session. The following two course options will be available throughout the year:
| Nurturing Parenting The evidence based Nurturing Parenting Programs target all families with children, birth to 18 years. The programs feature activities to foster positive parenting skills with nurturing behaviors, promote healthy physical and emotional development, and teach appropriate role and developmental expectations. The long term goals of this program are designed to prevent recidivism in families receiving social services, lower the rate of multi-parent teenage pregnancies, reduce the rate of juvenile delinquency and alcohol abuse, and stop the intergenerational cycle of child abuse by teaching positive parenting behaviors.

Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) is a holistic, attachment-based, evidence-based, and trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. Vulnerable children have changes in their bodies, brains, behaviors, and belief systems. While a variety of parenting strategies may be successful in typical circumstances, these children need caregiving that meets their unique needs and addresses the whole child. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.
| Strengthening Families Program The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is an evidence-based family skills training program for high-risk and general population families that is recognized both nationally and internationally. Parents and youth attend weekly SFP skills classes together, learning parenting skills and youth life and refusal skills. They have separate class training for parents and youth the first hour, followed by a joint family practice session for a half hour. SFP teaches–and has parents and youth practice–skills involved in bonding (creating warm, loving relationships), setting clear, firm boundaries (rules against antisocial behavior, including drug and alcohol use), and monitoring their children’s emotional well-being and activities to see that they always stay in an alcohol and drug-free social environment.

Between Two Homes: Co-Parenting A co-parenting course that is designed to provide guidance and support for parents who are separated or divorced and share the responsibility of raising their children. The course typically covers various aspects of effective co-parenting, aiming to help parents navigate challenges, communicate more effectively, and prioritize the well-being of their children. Parallel Parenting A parallel parenting course that is specifically designed for parents who are experiencing high levels of conflict or difficulty communicating with each other after separation or divorce. Parallel parenting recognizes that, in some cases, co-parents may find it challenging to collaborate directly, and it aims to provide strategies for managing parenting responsibilities separately while still prioritizing the well-being of the children. |
