Love & Logic

Love and Logic is built around caring and respectful relationships. Parents can raise self-confident, motivated children who are ready for the real world. Love and Logic provides powerful tools for parenting children of all ages. Parents learn to provide real limits in a loving way, helping form the foundation of good behavior and healthy decision-making in children.

The course consists of five sessions, each lasting approximately 90 minutes each session. The following two course options will be available throughout the year:

Parenting the Love and Logic Way: school age children

Early Childhood Love and Logic: children age 0 to 6 years

Nurturing Parenting   

The Nurturing Parenting Programs are a family-centered, trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices.

The long term goals of this program are designed to prevent recidivism in families receiving social services, lower the rate of multi-parent teenage pregnancies, reduce the rate of juvenile delinquency and alcohol abuse, and stop the intergenerational cycle of child abuse by teaching positive parenting behaviors. 

This curriculum is also used in Supervised Visitation services.

• There are a total of 16 lessons in the program.

• Group Classes are an hour and a half each session.

• Individual sessions do not normally exceed one hour.
