I’m excited to share the annual report of Compass Center for Families for Fiscal Year 2024. As the Executive Director, it’s truly an honor to support our incredible Board of Directors, dedicated staff, and wonderful volunteers. Every day, they come together to create a nurturing and supportive environment for the children and families we serve. Their dedication and compassion are the driving force behind our success, and I am profoundly grateful for their efforts.

I also want to express our deepest gratitude to the donors, businesses, faith-based organizations, fellow non-profits, and individuals whose partnership makes our work possible. Your belief in our mission and your support have made a tangible difference in the lives of children and families.

Our work at Compass Center for Families is deeply rooted in the belief that strong families are the cornerstone of strong communities. We also believe that all families have strengths and that all families need support at some time or another. The stories and statistics highlighted in this report are a testament to the impact we have achieved together. From providing essential resources and support to families in need to creating enriching opportunities for personal and educational growth, we have touched the lives of many. As you’ll read in this report, your belief in our mission and your generosity made it possible for Compass to provide over 1,500 families in Sheridan and Johnson Counties with the connections, tools and encouragement they need to be strong.

Here’s a snapshot of the impact over the past year:

• Support provided to 1,139 families through their Parent Liaisons
• 216 Parent Enrichment opportunities benefitting 294 families
• 964 supervised visits facilitated for 89 children, along with 57 Safe Exchanges
• 32 CASA volunteers contributing 1,065 volunteer hours in support of 112 children involved in child abuse and neglect cases

As we look to the future, we acknowledge the challenges that lie ahead. The needs of our community continue to evolve, and we are committed to adapting and expanding our services to meet these needs. We recognize that this work is ongoing and that the journey to stronger families and communities is a collective effort. Thank you for being an essential part of our mission.
