Compass Center for Families trains and supports volunteers to speak and act as advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children. They are trained to work within the child welfare and family court systems and are appointed by judges to be their eyes and ears in individual cases. With the help of a CASA volunteer, a child is half as likely to languish in the foster care system, and are more likely to find a safe and permanent home. Every child has a right to thrive, to be treated with dignity, and to live in a safe, loving home.
Compass Center for Families will help navigate through a period of vulnerability and fear. With the help of Compass and programs like CASA each child can understand their rights. Our opportunity and challenge is to teach children to believe in themselves and to give them the tools to succeed. Compass knows that children are our future doctors, teachers and leaders and each child deserves to a chance to reach their potential. We invite the people of Johnson County to stand up with us and support children and families. Attend our upcoming free Light of Hope fundraising breakfast on Friday, October 28 at the Bozeman Trail Steakhouse and Convention Center. Find out how you can become a CASA volunteer yourself or how you can financially support this impactful program.
